Barber, one of the top ranked wrestlers in Westfield history, captured the state championship last month, the first wrestler to win the title from Westfield in a quarter century. In March he also finished second nationally in wrestling. The Board of Education honored WHS senior Christian Barber for his wrestling success during a meeting last week. Barber, one of the top ranked wrestlers in Westfield history, captured the state championship last month, the first wrestler to win the title from Westfield in a quarter century.
