Website Says Westfield Top 10 Place To Raise A Family In NJ

WESTFIELD, NJ - Westfield has made the top ten places in New Jersey to raise a family in 2019, according to a report by the website HomeSnacks.

According to the site, HomeSnacks combines recent data from the Census, FBI, OpenStreetMaps, and dozens of other sources and rank cities, neighborhoods, counties, and states across America.

The report said the methodology used U.S. Census data produced for the state of New Jersey and paid particular attention to:

• Crime (Both violent and property)
• Quality of local schools
• Distance to a major city without necessarily being in it
• Percent of households with children
• Family-friendly amenities nearby (museums, libraries and colleges)

Westfield came in at number 10 on the list.
