Westfield Area YMCA Announces Summer Camp Signups
Even with summer half a year away, the Y is already planning how it will comply with CDC and Health Department guidelines.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield YMCA is already planning for summer camp, even without knowing for sure what the covid situation will be like. But they note, "Health and safety are the #1 priority, and the Y will ensure the safety of children by complying with CDC and Health Department guidelines, including COVID 19 guidelines, which may be in place at the time of camp. Therefore, all camp programs and program activities are subject to change."
Registration opens Jan. 2 with an early bird special.
Organizers said that the Y "provides a safe, engaging, and meaningful camp experience with enriching activities, fitness, fun, social and emotional learning, and much more. The camp curriculum promotes teamwork, enhances self-esteem and builds skills while incorporating the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility."
