Westfield Area YMCA Hosts Pocketbook Bingo To Benefit The Annual Support Campaign

The Westfield Area YMCA is hosting Pocketbook Bingo to benefit the Westfield Area YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign on Friday, May 5th from 7:00-9:30 pm at Holy Trinity Parish Center, 512 Westfield Avenue in Westfield.

Members and the community are welcome to enjoy a great Cinco de Mayo evening out and chances to go home with designer pocketbooks all for a good cause!

A contribution of $35 benefits the Y’s direct financial assistance program and includes 10 games of Bingo, a door prize ticket, dessert and coffee. Pocketbooks have retail values of $228-$390 and include Michael Kors, Coach and Kate Spade. A 50/50 raffle and extra games and daubers will be available. Participants can bring their own hors d'oeuvres and BYOB.

Thanks to the Annual Support Campaign, each year the Westfield Area Y provides over $400,000 direct financial assistance to individuals and families in need to enable their participation at the Y. Approximately 88% of scholarships awards enable children to attend child care and day camp programs while approximately 12% supports membership and program participation.
