Westfield Area YMCA Hosts Stroke Recovery Open House on January 22
Discover Resources and Support Designed for Stroke Survivors and Caregivers

The Westfield Area YMCA invites the community to a free Stroke Recovery Open House on Wednesday, January 22, from 12:00-2:00pm at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield. The event is open to stroke survivors, their families, and caregivers, and is designed to provide valuable resources and information to support recovery and overall well-being.
During the open house, experts and representatives from organizations such as Atlantic Health Rehabilitation, StrokeOT, Stroke Support Group & Stroke Program Managers of Atlantic Health System, Brain Injury Alliance of NJ (BIANJ) and VIVISTIM (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) will be present to answer any questions. Light refreshments will be served.
In addition, attendees will have the chance to learn about the Westfield Area YMCA's new and upcoming Stroke Recovery Program, a special initiative designed to support and aid in recovery, improve function, and optimize abilities. The Y's stroke recovery specialists, specifically trained to help stroke survivors achieve their goals, will also be present.
