Westfield Area YMCA Offers TRX® Suspension Training® Course

WESTFIELD AREA YMCA OFFERS TRX® SUSPENSION TRAINING® COURSE

The Westfield Area YMCA is pleased to host and be a training facility for a TRX® Suspension Training® course on Sunday, March 26th from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at the Main Y Facility located at 220 Clark Street in Westfield.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of TRX® Suspension Training® and how to incorporate them into personal training practice.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Understand and explain the benefits and target muscles of the exercises
  • Properly perform a variety of Suspension Training exercises
  • Progress and regress exercises for all fitness levels
  • Adjust resistance and stability for all exercises
  • Cue and correct common faults
  • Correctly set up and use the TRX Suspension Trainer

Certified fitness professionals are eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CECs). There are no prerequisites for this TRX Professional Education Course.

Space for this training is limited. Registration is going on now and is open to adults ages 18+. Westfield Area YMCA members can register online at www.westfieldynj.org and non-members can register at the Welcome Center at the Main Y Facility. There is a fee for this course.
