Westfield Artist Featured In Warren Library
Westfield's Sung Gross' 'Escape into Landscapes' exhibition is on display at the Warren Township branch through Sept. 29.

WARREN, NJ — Westfield artist Sung Gross' works are currently on exhibit at Warren Township Library branch.
This art show, featuring 19 oil paintings focusing on nature landscapes and cityscapes, depicts locales near and far. Paintings titled “Amsterdam,” “Crater in Maui,” “Lake Garda,” and “View from High Line” are a few of the pieces included in the “Escape into Landscapes” exhibition.
Gross, born in South Korea, worked as a social research scientist and more recently, she has taught as an adjunct professor.

Her interest in drawing and painting began in childhood and many of her earlier works include Korean watercolor folk paintings.
For the last 10 years, while attending and painting in the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, she has exhibited her oil paintings in a variety of venues, including: Mayo Performing Arts Center, Paper Mill Playhouse, Morristown Library, Livingston Community Center, Johnson & Johnson Gallery and the Summit Art Center Gallery.

The paintings in this collection will be on display at the Warren Township branch during regular library hours through Sept. 29.
