Westfield Board Of Education Accepting Nominees For New Members: How To Apply

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Board of Education Secretary has begun to accept completed candidate petitions ahead of this year's election on April 21.

Board of Education candidates can circulate nominations jointly and be grouped together on the ballot.

The deadline to submit a completed petition is 4 p.m. on March 2. Contact pramos@westfieldnjk12.org or visit the Westfield Public Schools office at 302 Elm St.

The drawing of names for ballot position will be held at 2 p.m. on March 11 by Business Administrator/Board Secretary Patricia Ramos.

Nominating Petition For Westfield Board Of Education

The Westfield Board of Education meets every month in Cafeteria B at Westfield High School, beginning at 7 p.m.

Events are also livestreamed on the district's YouTube channel.

The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 10.
