Westfield Business Giving Away Free Ice Cream: See When

A Customer Appreciation Day is being held.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Town of Westfield's residents are being treated to free ice cream by a local business.

The Baked Bear, located at 18 Elm St., stocks more than a dozen "baked from scratch" original recipe cookies and ice cream flavors that can then be blended with cookies or brownies to make ice cream sandwiches.

At a Feb. 28 customer appreciation day, every customer will get a free scoop of ice cream from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Anyone who buys two cookies will get a free upgrade to an ice cream sandwich.

The Baked Bear began with its first location in Pacific Beach, California in 2013. Co-founders Rob Robbins and Shane Stanger's dream to own their own restaurant has led to locations all across the United States, including in Maryland, Alabama, and five in New Jersey.
