Westfield Class Of 2018: Where Are They Now?
More than 500 students graduated Westfield in 2018.

WESTFIELD, NJ - Despite being gone several months, the 507 seniors who graduated Westfield in 2018 weren't far from the mind of Superintendent Margaret Dolan as she shared an update on the former students Sept. 25.
Speaking with the Westfield Board of Education, Dolan shared graduation report with updated statistics on where the class of 2018 landed.
- 99.2 percent of seniors graduated
- 507 seniors received diplomas
- 94.6 percent continuing their education
- 90 percent attending 4 year colleges and universities
- 3.5 percent attending 2 year colleges
- 1.1 percent enrolled in vocational, business, and other post high school institutions
- .6 percent entered employment
- .6 percent continuing special services in a transition program
- .6 percent joined the military
- .9 percent taking a gap year
- 2.7% percent did not report their future plans
- 171 colleges and universities in 38 states, plus 5 in other countries
- Most popular: Universities of Delaware, Indiana, Loyola, Maryland, Michigan, Monmouth, Montclair State, Northeastern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Scranton, South Carolina, Syracuse, Temple, Wisconsin, Vermont, Villanova and The College of New Jersey, Providence College, and Stevens Institute of Technology.
- 5 out of the 8 Ivy League schools are represented: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Princeton, and Yale.
"We are very proud of our Westfield High School Class of 2018 and we wish them the best," Dolan said.
