The Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library will be holding their annual book sale from Wednesday, April 2 through Saturday, April 5. The sale will be held in the library's main meeting room located at 550 East Broad Street, Westfield. The sale will be open to the public on Wednesday, April 2nd, from 2 to 8 pm, and from 10am to 8pm on Thursday and Friday, April 3rd and 4th. Friday, the 4th is half-price sale day. Saturday, April 5th, from 9:30 am to 1pm is Bag Day when customers can fill a shopping bag with books for $5.
The Friends will be accepting book donations at the library's arcade entrance on Thursday and Friday, March 27th and 28th from 10am to 3pm and on Saturday, March 29th from 10am to 1pm. Adult and children's hard cover and paperback novels, non-fiction books, CDs and DVDs may be donated provided they are in resalable conditon, not damaged, stained, etc. The Friends cannot accept records, magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, condensed and out-of-date travel, health, or business books.
Your donation of books is tax deductible and receipts will be provided upon request.
