Westfield Hosts Annual Spring Cleanup During Earth Month

The event will take place on Sunday, April 21 at Tamaques Park or Brightwood Park.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The town of Westfield is inviting individuals, families and groups to volunteer for its Annual Spring Cleanup event on Sunday, April 21.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring a pair of gloves and a rake, if possible, and go to either Tamaques Park (basketball courts) or Brightwood Park (Prospect Street entrance) between 10 a.m. and noon, where a member of the town council or Green Team will coordinate clean-up activities.

New this year: Creating a native bed at Westfield Memorial Library.

Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and religious organizations who need to fulfill community service requirements are welcome to participate. Minors must be supervised by a parent or adult guardian. Drop-ins are welcome, but advance registration is encouraged through Signup-Genius.
