Westfield Library hosts Westfield Art Association Reception on 10/28

The Westfield Library and the Art Association will host a reception on Saturday, 10/28 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Gallery. All are welcome.

The Westfield Memorial Library and the Westfield Art Association will host a reception on Saturday, October 28 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the library’s Gallery. Refreshments will be served, and all are invited to view the current exhibition entitled “After the Storm.”

Darrin Owens, President of The Westfield Art Association, said, “The Westfield Art Association is proud to present interpretations on the theme "After the Storm" by 20 of our member artists in the library during the month of October 2023. We thank the Westfield Memorial Library for offering artists the opportunity to show our work and to display public art for patrons.”

According to Owens, the Art Association hopes to offer art classes through the library to the public during 2024.

Since 1922 the Westfield Art Association has provided art education and public exhibitions, and continues today to actively encourage its many members in the pursuit of individual artistic goals and growth. All experience levels and mediums are welcome.

Currently library hours are Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m.
