Westfield Looks To Redesign Tamaques Park
The plan potentially could include more parking, fields, pickleball courts, walking trails, a permanent ice rink, and more.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Tamaques Park may be looking at an upgrade and the Town is asking residents for their input on what they would like to see.
The Recreation Commission is in the process of exploring a design plan for Tamaques Park in order to upgrade and expand existing facilities to potentially include more parking, fields, pickleball courts, and walking trails, as well as a possible permanent ice rink to replace the temporary rink at Gumbert Park.
The Committee has opened a Park Usage and Visioning Survey, which is now open to all residents and park users, to help understand how Tamaques Park is used today, and what new amenities and recreation offerings the community would most like to see added.
