Westfield Offers Free Conservation Center Access For Blizzard Debris Cleanup
The conservation center will waive permit and fee requirements for organic debris disposal on Friday and Saturday.
WESTFIELD, NJ — The Town is offering residents use of the conservation center without a permit or fee on Friday and Saturday to dispose of organic debris resulting from the recent blizzard. Proof of residency will be required at the center.
Landscapers are not permitted to deposit materials during these special hours.
"Following the volume of branches and other debris from the storm, it's a good time to remind everyone that with the exception of leaf season, organic debris is not allowed to be placed curbside," said Westfield Mayor Jeremy Berman.
