Westfield Senior Named NJ High School Journalist Of Year
Greta Frontero has been named as the 2018 New Jersey High School Journalist of the Year by the Garden State Scholastic Press Association.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Congrats to Westfield High School senior Greta Frontero! She has been named as the 2018 New Jersey High School Journalist of the Year by the Garden State Scholastic Press Association.
With this honor, Frontero earned a $5,000 2018 Bernard Kilgore Memorial Scholarship from the New Jersey Press Foundation.
She is also automatically entered in a competition for the 2018 National High School Journalist of the Year, sponsored by the Journalism Education Association.

“We are very proud of Greta and congratulate her on this prestigious recognition,” says Westfield Superintendent of Schools Margaret Dolan. “In today’s climate of instant news, responsible journalism remains more important than ever.”
Greta and other journalists from across the state will be honored at a dinner in April.
