Westfield Shuffles School Resource Officers
Tiffany Kenny joins Edison Intermediate School in new role, officials said.

WESTFIELD, NJ - The Westfield Police Department has moved Officer Tiffany Kenny to a new beat, that of Edison Intermediate School Resource Officer for the 2019-2020 season.
Kenny recently completed a five-day Safe Schools Resource Officer/School Liaison course and attended the 21st Community Meeting on Juvenile Justice Seminar, officials said.
Officer Ricardo Johnson will remain assigned to the Westfield High School and Officer Kristopher Jackus will remain assigned to Roosevelt School. Should you need to contact a School Resource Officer, their contact information is:

Generally, school resource officers have the ability to make arrests, respond to calls for service, and document incidents but also have additional duties, including mentoring and conducting presentations on youth-related issues.
