"The students work very hard to put out magazines of this caliber four times a year. Each magazine takes hard work, passion, talent, and teamwork to complete," says WHS journalism teacher and Hi’s Eye/Optic Adviser Shawn McDonald. "We are honored that, in Optic’s third year of publication, we were able to win such prestigious and respectable awards. These awards truly showcase the talented students who make up our robust journalism program at Westfield High School."
