Woman Crashed And Flipped Over Car, Charged With DWI: Linden Police
The Elizabeth woman lost control of her car early Sunday morning and hit a utility pole causing it to roll over on its roof, police said.

LINDEN, NJ — A Union County woman was arrested Sunday morning for driving while intoxicated and crashing into a utility pole in Linden.
On April 9 at around 3:50 a.m., Katherine Flores, 32, from Elizabeth was driving east on W. St. George Avenue in Linden in a 2002 Toyota Camry when she lost control and crashed into a utility pole near Ainswoth Street, causing her car to overturn onto its roof, police report.
Other drivers helped Flores get out of the car and she was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and released.

W. St. George Avenue was closed in both directions for most of the day while crews repaired the pole.
Flores was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, possession of an open container of alcohol, and driving with a suspended license. She was released pending a municipal court appearance on Monday, April 10.
