Worldwide German Kebab Chain Opening Westfield Eatery
The Westfield location would be German Doner Kebab's second in New Jersey. The eatery has more than 100 restaurants across seven countries.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A worldwide German Kebab chain is looking to expand further into New Jersey with a new location slated for Westfield.
German Doner Kebab will be opening at 125 E. Broad St. in Westfield at the former Brummer's Chocolates (which closed in 2020 after 31 years in business).
The restaurant roasts slivers of thin-sliced beef and chicken on a rotisserie, and serves them on toasted bread, a brioche bun or in a box with vegetables and a collection of hot sauces.

Expanding now into North America, the restaurant has over 125 locations worldwide.
German Doner Kebab did not respond to questions about when the location would open in Westfield, though it is listed as "coming soon" on the company's website.

Mayor Shelley Brindle previously said in May that the business could open within the next two months.
