1 Dead, 1 Wounded After Shooting In East Orange: Police
A 31-year-old Kenilworth resident died after he was shot in East Orange. A second victim was wounded, but survived, police said.
EAST ORANGE, NJ — A Kenilworth resident died after he was shot in East Orange last weekend, authorities announced Monday.
Alishaki Pearson, 31, was shot on South Munn Avenue around 1 a.m. on Saturday, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the East Orange Police Department.
Pearson was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:36 a.m.

A second victim, a 30-year-old man, was also shot but survived, authorities said.
No arrests have been made as of Monday, police stated.
