2024 School Board Election In West Orange: See Candidate List
Here's who filed petitions to run for the board of education in West Orange this November.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — The 2024 general election will likely be a high-turnout year with a presidential race on the ballot. But there will also be local decisions to be made in West Orange's school board election.
With Monday’s deadline for candidates to file petitions in the rearview mirror, four people have filed to run in West Orange's board of education race on Nov. 5. Two seats are up for election; terms last for three years.
Here are the candidates and their slogans, as per the Essex County Clerk’s Office:

- Jeffrey Litchman - "For the Children"
