Alleged West Orange Bank Robber Caught: Prosecutor

The New Jersey man is accused of robbing TD Banks in West Orange, Roseland and Parsippany, prosecutors say.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Authorities have arrested a Morris County man who allegedly robbed the TD Bank in West Orange on March 11, prosecutors announced.

According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Parsippany–Troy Hills police arrested Gabriel Reyes, 25, of Washington Township, on Thursday and charged him with robbery in connection with an incident that occurred on March 6 at the TD Bank at 430 North Beverwyck Road in Parsippany.

Reyes is also accused of robbing the TD Bank in West Orange, New Jersey on March 11 and the TD Bank in Roseland on March 4, prosecutors said.

According to prosecutors, during the Parsippany robbery, a male suspect entered the bank, demanded money, threatened the use of a gun and fled the scene in a vehicle with an undisclosed sum of money.

Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation of the robbery at the Parsippany TD Bank, including the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, the Parsippany–Troy Hills Police Department, the Belleville Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section and K-9 Unit, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, prosecutors stated.
