Body Found In West Orange: Authorities Investigate
West Orange police found the man outside of a Joyce Street property, authorities say.

Authorities announced on Thursday that the West Orange Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the death of a male.
On Thursday, West Orange Police responded to a call of an unresponsive man around 20-years-old outside of 1 Joyce Street.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:30 a.m., authorities stated.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending formal identification and notification of next of kin.
The cause of death is pending autopsy, but the victim was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, authorities said.
