Day or Night, Eagle Rock Reservation is the place for Romance!

Now that summer is in full swing, the Eagle Rock Reservation in West Orange is a premiere hot spot for Romance on a Shoestring. The main reason is the fact that day or night, the reservation is a place to get away with your partner.

Eagle Rock Reservation is a 408.33-acre tract of wooded land
located in the central section of Essex County on the crest of Watchung's First
Mountain. The mountain got its name in the early 19th century, when bald eagles
were said to nest in the rocky cliffs on the eastern edge. 

The grounds aren't as grand as some of the previous Romance selections like Park and Kip's Castle, but this selection has the best attraction of all.

The panoramic view of New York City is second to none. On a clear day, you can see the Verrazano Bridge that connects Staten Island to Brooklyn. Young or old, if you venture to Eagle Rock Reservation, you are bound to get swept up into a romantic mood. With a bottle of wine, your favorite music and your loved one beside you, it's bound to be a hit.

Even the young couple pictured here enjoying the park echoed the fact that the best part of Eagle Rock is the view at night. One drawback is there will be plenty of romantics joining you.
