At Least One Hurt In Serious N.J. Drawbridge Accident; Delays Reported
At least one person was hurt in a serious New Jersey drawbridge accident early Wednesday, officials said.
An accident with injuries was reported on a heavily used New Jersey drawbridge early Wednesday, state transportation officials said.
The accident happened at U.S. 1&9 Truck Route southbound in the Passaic River drawbridge's right lane in Kearny, officials said.
The lane is blocked, and a 10- to 15-minute delay was reported. NJ Transit Bus Route No. 1 to/from Jersey City may experience delays.
