Pura Belpré was a talented author, collector of folktales, puppeteer and storyteller who wrote and
reinterpreted Puerto Rican folk tales. Our show is a re-enactment of her legendary “Bilingual Story
Hour” in a creative and interactive experience that combines storytelling with puppets!
