Celebrate World Sea Turtle Day At New Jersey Zoo

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Get set to party at the Turtle Back Zoo after hours in celebration of World Sea Turtle Day on Saturday, June 16.

According to Sea Turtle Recovery, the nonprofit that manages the turtle rescue operations at the Essex County-run zoo in West Orange, their “World Sea Turtle Day Celebration” will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 16. (Click here for more details/tickets)

Activities will include a “mob dance,” train rides, face painting, sea turtle booths and games, and live music from the “Uptown Getdowns.” The event will also include a dance choreographed by All 4 Dance Performing Arts Studio.

Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door.
