Choosing A University: Essex County Students Invited To Annual College Night

It’s never too early for two things… holiday shopping and looking for colleges.

Millburn High School will host its annual College Night on Monday, Nov. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the high school gymnasium and several classrooms on the 2nd floor.

High school students and parents from all schools and surrounding communities are welcome to participate, visit with the college representatives and obtain literature on the schools.

This year’s College Night has been expanded to include two sessions of a financial aid workshop presented by the College and Retirement Solutions Company, a release stated.

The workshop, which lasts about one-hour, is being offered at 7 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. in room 111.

More than 200 colleges from across the country will be represented at the event, the school stated in a release. The PTO will provide a Chinese buffet from Jade Lake Restaurant for all attending college representatives, and will also sponsor a “hospitality room” throughout the night.
