East Orange Man Slain In Newark: Authorities
An East Orange man was found dead in his car in Newark, police said.
Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Newark on Monday night.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Westley R. Roberson, 34, of East Orange, was fatally shot in the 100 block of South 12th Street in Newark.
Roberson was discovered in his car in the vicinity of Central Avenue and South 12th Street at approximately 6:44 p.m., authorities stated.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects have been identified or arrests made, prosecutors stated.
