An Essex County family is asking for the public's help locating a 30-year-old man who went missing around Father's Day.

Update: RLS Media reported Monday evening that Matthew Thomas has been found safe.
Essex County, NJ – An Essex County family is asking for the public’s help locating a 30-year-old man who reportedly went missing around Father’s Day.
Family members told RLS Media that Matthew Thomas went missing on June 18. He was last seen in the area of Sunset Avenue and South Orange Avenue in Newark.

Thomas is 6 feet and has a slim build, and has multiple tattoos on his body and arms, RLS Media stated. He also may have been wearing a black backpack.
Family members are asking anyone with information about Thomas’ location to call Newark police or their local authorities.
