                       “The Jersey Sting”

The saga of New Jersey political and money-laundering scandals, of a Black Market Kidney Dealer, all tied together by an unlikely FBI informant.

Ted Sherman and Josh Margolin, both reporters for the Newark Star-Ledger at the time, reveal the maneuvering behind the criminal charges filed on July 23, 2009, against more than 40 individuals—some of them local politicians across New Jersey, others with links to the Syrian Jewish communities on the New Jersey shore, and links to Israel. The politicians and the religious practitioners shared nothing in common except Solomon Dwek, the federal informant who operated undercover after being charged with bank fraud resulting from unsuccessful real-estate deals.

The book details one of the biggest Federal corruption stings in history, and the biggest corruption sting in NJ.
