Alpha Express: 5 weeks and that's all! WITH child care!

The Alpha Course is billed as “an opportunity to explore the meaning of life”; it is a practical introduction to the Christian faith that offers answers to some key questions.  Each weekly session begins with an informal dinner, followed by a learning time with Nicky Gumbel, the originator of the Alpha Course, via DVD.  A small group discussion and interaction time follows, with the rule that no question is too simple or too hostile.

The Course tackles such questions as, “Who is Jesus?,” “Why and How do I Pray?” and “How Does God Guide Us?”; Nicky Gumbel is funny and self-deprecating, and an excellent teacher for everyone who finds churchy-lingo impenetrable.  

Alpha Express enables us to compress what is usually a ten-week course into half the time, while still allowing for good discussion time.  

Alpha courses are internationally-known because they provide good "handles" for folks to figure out what Christianity is all about.  

Registrations welcome, beginning in March and up until the third week of class.  Please contact the church to register.

*There WILL BE kids' activities during the DVD and discussion time, run by our director of ministries to children and families.  Inquire when you register.
