Balancing Fear and Freedom in Raising Safe Kids

While parents often know what to teach their kids about being safe, they may not know how to have such a difficult conversation. Learn important tips on speaking to children about safety issues with the Golda Och Academy and Jewish Family Service on Thursday, January 12 at 7 p.m. at the Wilf Lower School Campus, 122 Gregory Avenue in West Orange.

JFS Social Worker Shari Bloomberg, LCSW, will lead this interactive program and will present techniques for having this difficult conversation with your children in a non-threatening manner. The snow date is February 2.

This free program is co-sponsored by the Golda Och Academy and its Parents’ Association. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Abby Finkel at afinkel@goldaochacademy.org.
