Maplewood/South Orange Professionals in Transition--PLEASE NOTE SEVERAL CHANGES
To all Northern NJ Professionals in Transition:
There are several very important changes, about our group meetings, in this notice.
On Monday March 26, at 10:00 a.m., we will have open networking/story-sharing/group interaction—NOT the speaker that we have been adverting (we rescheduled her for June 4)—so please bring topics that you’d like to ask/tell your peers about.
The Maplewood Memorial Library is renovating the room that we’ve been using, so Joanne, in charge of Adult Programming/Publicity at the Library, was very helpful in reserving the use of a room at DeHart Community Center—it’s at 120 Burnett Ave. (just a couple of blocks from the Hilton Branch and from Springfield Ave)—in Maplewood. And... since it looks like Memorial Hall will be out of commission during the day for at least a month, Joanne booked a room at DeHart for us for both April 9 and April 23 as well (stay tuned for info about our topics for these days).
Thanks to Joanne, our favorite librarian—who has gone “the extra mile,” and to Michelle Tillis Lederman—who was kind enough to understand our scramble for a new (but smaller) space.
Again, author, communications expert and leadership coach Ms. Lederman will present “The 11 Laws of Likability”—based on her recently released book with the same title—to Maplewood/South Orange Professionals in Transition ON JUNE 4. [Again, we will get you details on our April 9 and 23 meetings, soon.] Michelle believes that real relationships lead to real results, and so she specializes in teaching people how to communicate with confidence, clarity and connection. She is the founder of Executive Essentials, a training company that provides communications and leadership programs as well as executive coaching services, and we’re pleased that she’ll be coming to speak to & with us.
