Flood Watch Impacts West Orange, Several Inches Of Rain Possible (See Timeline)
Thunderstorms are expected to arrive in West Orange soon – here's when.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — Things are about to get soggy in West Orange, forecasters say.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Watch and a Hazardous Weather Outlook for West Orange this week. Other towns in New Jersey are also expected to see heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
According to the NWS, several inches of rain are expected to fall between Monday night and Thursday. A regional Flood Watch will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and last until 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Light and variable wind becoming south around 5 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Southeast wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
