Luddington Road In West Orange Becomes One-Way Street

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Luddington Road in West Orange is now a one-way road. On Monday, Jan. 29, the roadway officially became a one-way street westbound or uphill from South Valley Road (Ridgewood Road in South Orange) to Gregory Avenue (Wyoming Avenue in South Orange).

According to a township news alert:

“Turns will be prohibited onto the lower section of Luddington Road from Gregory Avenue / Wyoming Avenue. At Melrose Place, right turns onto Luddington Road will be prohibited, and from Overlook Avenue opposite Melrose Place, left turns onto Luddington Road will be prohibited. At Franklin Terrace, right turns will be prohibited onto Luddington Road. Finally, there will be no direct access to South Valley Road / Ridgewood Road from Luddington Road.”
