Mayor Candidate Forum Planned In West Orange: Election 2022
A community forum is planned for Oct. 23 for mayoral candidates in West Orange.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A community forum is being planned on Sunday, Oct. 23 for mayoral candidates in West Orange.
According to the Pleasant Valley Civic Association, it will partner with B’nai Shalom to hold the forum between 4 to 6 p.m. at the synagogue, located at 300 Pleasant Way.

West Orange’s 2022 nonpartisan municipal election will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 8. In addition to federal, state and county candidates, West Orange residents will be asked to cast ballots for mayor, town council and the local board of education.
West Orange’s current mayor, Robert Parisi, recently announced that he will not be running for re-election in November. There are four candidates seeking to take his place: Joe Krakoviak, Cindy Matute-Brown, Susan McCartney and Bill Rutherford.
