NJ Astronaut’s Twitter Hacked; No Collab With Cardi B Planned
Don't believe everything you see on the internet.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Is famed New Jersey astronaut Scott Kelly pitching for a collaboration with hip-hop artist Cardi B? Don’t hold your breath… and don’t believe everything you see on the internet.
On Wednesday, Kelly, an Essex County native, announced that his Twitter account – which has almost five million followers – had been “compromised.” A previous, cryptic message was sent from Kelly’s account on Tuesday that mentioned @iamcardib:
“Scott Kelly here,” the Tweet read. “Have some collaborative ideas. DM me.”
The strange offer was retweeted hundreds of times within 30 minutes, with many of Kelly’s followers expressing perplexment at his seeming foray into the world of hip-hop.

A simple explanation was offered by Kelly on Wednesday: his account was hacked.
“Back on the grid!” Kelly proclaimed. “It seems my @Twitter account was compromised. Thanks to concerned followers, I am OK. The issue has been resolved and errant tweets were deleted. No slight to @iamcardib. You are still on my music playlist.”
As of Wednesday afternoon, there was no public reply from Cardi B on Twitter.
