NJ Man Dies After 2 Cars Strike Him In Orange: Prosecutors
A fatal hit-and-run claimed a man's life in Essex County. Neither vehicle remained at the scene, prosecutors said.
ORANGE, NJ — Police have launched an investigation into a hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 46-year-old man in Orange last week, authorities said Monday.
Felipe Chay, 46, of Orange, was fatally hit on the 100-block of Scotland Road in Orange around 11 a.m. on May 14, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Orange Police Department.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that he was struck by two vehicles,” prosecutors said. “Neither one remained on the scene.”

An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made as of Monday, authorities said.
