NJ Transit Passenger Leaps Out Bus Door, Bashes Head: Authorities
A passenger jumped out the rear door of a NJ Transit bus traveling from West Orange to Newark, a report says.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A man leaped from the rear door of a NJ Transit bus passing through West Orange on Wednesday morning, falling onto the street and suffering a serious head injury, authorities say.
A NJ Transit spokesperson said that the man attempted to break out of the rear door of the No. 21 line bus as it was driving from Newark Penn Station to West Orange around 10:25 a.m., landing harshly on the roadway near the intersection of White and Main streets, NJ.com reported.
The spokesman didn’t identify the injured passenger or specify how fast the bus was traveling, but said that emergency responders transported him to University Hospital in Newark for treatment.

None of the other people on board suffered injury during the incident, NJ.com stated.
No word on the man’s possible motive for jumping off the bus was immediately available.
