Parisi: Open Door Policy Will Create Dialogue

Mayor's office to host series of open office hours for township residents

Mayor Robert Parisi said he will host the first of an ongoing series of open office hours Thursday, July 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in his office at 66 Main St.

"I look forward to creating an open dialogue with residents and interacting with members of the community in a one-to-one setting," Parisi said. "It's this type of open door policy that encourages community involvement and brings new ideas forward."

Residents can meet with Parisi on a first-come, first-served basis to address any concerns or ideas. No appointments are necessary.

Since his inauguration July 1, Parisi has said he will help lift the burden on township taxpayers and has said layoffs could be in the future for West Orange employees. He also is working to build a marketing campaign for the township to help increase home sales.
