School In The Oranges Kicks Off New Year With $51M Upgrade
It's the "beginning of a new chapter in the education" for hundreds of students at the school, New Jersey SDA officials said.

ORANGE, NJ — A $51.7 million upgrade has crossed the finish line at a school in the Oranges, the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA) announced Friday.
The work at Cleveland Street Elementary School in Orange included an 11,500 square-foot addition and renovations to the existing facility, which is more than a century old.
According to the SDA, the renovations included converting the basement areas to provide a main office, a media center, an art room, a music room, a science room, and a computer instructional area. It also included replacement of windows throughout the building, as well as new HVAC equipment, and a replacement stair installation.
