A structure fire broke out shortly after 8:15 p.m. Saturday at 44 Rock Spring Road in West Orange.
No one was home at the time of the fire, which appeared to be under control in less than an hour.
Fire officials on scene said preliminary investigation shows the incident to be accidental, but an investigator was on scene to rule out any foul play. The cause of the fire also is under investigation.

Officials said the fire was kept to the home's two-car garage and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
