Turtle Back Zoo’s ‘Behind The Scenes’ Giraffe Tour: March Tickets

WEST ORANGE, NJ — If you’ve been trying to get a ticket to the Turtle Back Zoo’s popular “Behind the Scenes” tour at the giraffe house, you’ll get another chance on Thursday, Feb. 1, when tickets for the zoo’s March tours go on sale.

According to the zoo’s website, tickets for the Giraffe House Behind the Scenes” events in March – which will take place on Saturdays and Sunday – go on sale Feb. 1 here. Visitors can also join the zoo’s wait list for January and February tours at the website.

All tours begin at 2 p.m. at the zoo's Reptile House. Questions about the event can be directed to 973-371-5800, ext.103, or mhunt@parks.essexcountynj.org.

The tours include:

• 30 to 45-minute “Behind the Scenes Tour”
• Meet and greet the giraffe keeper
• Admission to the zoo for the day (for non-Zoological Society members)
