For September, Turtle Back Zoo's residents will take on tweeting @TurtleBackZoo. These tech-savvy critters will share fun facts, links and more — and will be happy to respond to tweets.
For those new to Twitter, it's easy to get started. Just go to Twitter and start a free account. Then "follow" @TurtleBackZoo and start receiving the zoo's tweets.
"Visitors are used to hearing tweets from the budgies in our interactive aviary and now they will be able to enjoy tweets of a different kind from our non feathered animals too," said Dr. Jeremy Goodman, the zoo's director.
