West Orange Burlington Store Donates $5K To School At Grand Opening

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The company formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory recently marked its arrival in West Orange with a cash donation to a local school.

Earlier this month, Burlington held a grand opening for its newest store at the Essex Green shopping center at 495 Prospect Avenue in West Orange. The West Orange store will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday to Sunday. People seeking to apply for a job can visit the company’s website.

To celebrate the new store, Burlington donated $5,000 to nearby Washington Elementary School through its long-running partnership with the national nonprofit, AdoptAClassroom.org.

According to the company, the funds will be used to help teachers purchase crucial materials for their classrooms. The presentation of the donation took place at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 9.
