West Orange High Presents Fall Play: 'Our Town'

The West Orange High School Drama department has chosen 'Our Town' for their fall play, which will open on November 2nd.

WEST ORANGE, NJ - From West Orange High School: The West Orange High School Drama department is excited to announce its fall play will be "Our Town," the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama that tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens. First produced and published in 1938, "Our Town" has become an American classic and is Thornton Wilder’s most renowned and frequently performed play.

"Our Town" performances will be held in the West Orange High School auditorium, located on the Pleasant Valley Way side of the campus, on Nov. 2-4 beginning at 7:00 pm. Advance tickets are $13 for adults and $11 Students/Senior Citizens. Advance tickets can be purchased until 24 hours before each show at WOHS.BOOKTIX.COM. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the evening of the performance for $15.

A special senior citizen performance will be held on Nov. 1 beginning at 6:00 pm. All senior citizens are invited to attend this performance free of charge and no ticket is required. Complimentary refreshments will be served during intermission.
