West Orange School Snow Days, Delayed Openings: What To Do For 2016

Here's what to do school if school is cancelled or delayed this winter, West Orange.

West Orange, NJ – As North Jersey hunkers down for a possible nor’easter/snowstorm that forecasters say is “increasingly likely” to hit Friday afternoon, it’s helpful for local parents to brush up on what to do in event of a school snow day.

Here’s what the West Orange School District says to do for snow days, cancellations and delayed openings for the 2015-16 school year:

“Parents and guardians will be notified by phone for school closings, delayed openings, early dismissals or any emergency that impacts normal school hours… School closings are also posted on the district website, www.woboe.org.”
