West Orange Town Employees Recognized For Women’s History Month

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Town Council and Mayor Susan McCartney recently took a moment to acknowledge the hard work of the town’s female employees in tribute to Women’s History Month.

McCartney – who blazed a trail as the first woman mayor of West Orange – read a proclamation in their honor at the council’s meeting on Tuesday (watch the video below).

“Beyond Mayor McCartney's office, numerous women serve in various departments within West Orange Town Hall, each contributing their expertise and passion to the community they serve. From Department heads to administrative roles and community outreach, all these women play integral roles in ensuring the smooth functioning of local government and addressing the needs of town residents.”
